    not to be rude, but thats not exactly going to change much, i find it to be a half-baked way of fixing a problem...one that the new Dev team created by adding in auto attack and not thinking about how it would effect this and future ranged attack classes

    (of course this is not at you Bayohne, but at the devs)

    To be fair we've always had to carry arrow stacks of various kinds in past FF titles. I think a scavenge type skill would work nicely if they dont already have that. Just make it so the ability doesnt give large amounts at once.

    Besides, once arrows of various damage and stat debuff types work, wont you guys have to carry stacks of different arrows anyway?

    That ability is in FFXIV, and yes, we do have to hold different stack types, but you also have to hold stacks of low rank arrows for different types of situations. Like, if you were fighting an NM, you'd not want to use them. If you were farming, grinding, or doing guildleves you'd want to use them to not waste your good arrows. Unless you only use good arrows for all of your activities. Some view that as a waste of money. Higher ranked arrows mainly allow you to hit your DMG cap more consistently. Something that doesn't take that much of a hit when using weathered arrows and performing minor tasks.

    When i first heard about the game they said something about picking up arrows and refilling your slot, but of course all it mean was taking some out of your inventory. i thought they were going to have you use an ability that fills out your slot with weaker arrows (like "used arrow") that was there to give you something to fire instead of being screwed. Guess chucking rocks for 1 damage was a better idea XD

    and why is there not already quivers? thats one thing that came late to FFXI that just seemed obvious....but i guess this game is still missing plenty of obvious things so forget that last bit lol.

    I'd rather having arrows consumable. If they become infinite it would nerf ARC's DPS because it would remove the attack and accuracy bonuses from arrows.

    Also, its an important part of carpenters gil flow. IMO this game should have more useful consumable stuff like arrows...like improving throwing weapons, medicines, food, etc.

    i'm even up for suff like gunblades, that are melee but also would offer an extra ranged option if you have ammo equipped...pretty much like FFXI's virtue weapons ^^

    you know the second there is a gunblade class that like 90% of the community will be just that right XD

    There is an ability like that in the game. It's called Scavenge.

    So when you run out of arrows, you don't have to chunk rocks. You just have to pop Scavenge, and then you can instantly fire another arrow. Pop Scavenge again, and then you can fire another arrow. Rinse, repeat.

    Considering it takes like 1 mob to get to rank 2, and you can hold 999 arrows at a time, I have a very, very hard time believing that you'd need that skill right out of the gate. In fact, I kind of doubt you can use 999 arrows before getting to rank 18.

    Stacks of arrow take to much inventory places? Maybe in the old days last year but now you don't need 10 stacks only for 990 arrows anymore.
