Tonberry Minion Animation missing

So, I finally got the Tonberry Minion and I was expection it to "attack" mobs as seen in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uC-msPS4zDA
Problem is my Tonberry just stand there doing nothing

Anybody with the same issue or that can explain my minion seems "bugged"?

Are you in melee range? If you're not, it won't attack

I've also found the Wolf Pup does this...somewhat. It moves into position as if to attack but doesn't have an actual attack animation. I think there are a few others that do this as well, but so far only the Tonberry actually attacks.


And hold on...I just got my Ton out and he isn't attacking anymore Moves into position but doesn't attack.

Ugh...did they break it with 2.16? Been playing with my new Bluebird since I got it around then...

I'll see about submitting a bug report for this later

My effects settings haven't changed in...IDK how long. Haven't touched the setting since before 2.1 at least, so that's not it.

Nope, and also my FC mates aren't able to see any animation :P Checked with lots of different settings and players, unfortunately the result is still the same.

My wolf pup and ton does not attack anymore either The wolf pup likes to go crazy sometimes though, instead of attacking the mob he would run to it and run back to me at super speed, repeating the process over and over which makes him look glitched.
