Raider considering transferring, have a few questions

I'm wondering if this is a highly populated and active server with a thriving endgame community. It seems that way to me from the forum, but I thought I'd ask the natives their take on this assumption I've made before committing. I ask this because I'm from the Faerie server, which is small, and I'm not satisfied with the very limited options of raiding FCs at this time, and also is not a good prospect for 2.2. Though I have some friends there (I could make an alt), I'd like to spend my $15/mo by actually getting to find people that can competently clear challenging content as quickly as possible, focus, be punctual, be decent/fun, and have a reasonable schedule (around 6-9 cst start times). I am a i90 warrior, i89 drg, i86 pld, i86 brd, and i84 monk (and all DOMs are about i73-74). I have at least 5 months of clearing 1-4, but because of limited opportunities and bad luck with finding a solid group, I've only done t5 up to twisters, as a warrior off-tank and bard.

There are a lot of people here on our server most are either T1-4 clears weekly or are in a set T1-5 clear weekly FC. I suggest trying to browse the forums and join a static team before considering the transfer. If you don't find Cactuar to you're liking check out behemoth they have a lot of really good players.

Thanks for the reply. Yes that is certainly good advice to join a static before moving, I'll keep that in mind. Glad to hear though that I have some confirmation that Cactaur and Behemoth have good end-game communities and a large population, which would be nice for the future. It's one thing to join a static, but I just don't want to end up like I am on Faerie again, where I had an excellent FC, but after it went down in flames, there's not much left for me because of the limited player base for the time being.
