Crafting Smart - Elemental Hours and Moon Phases

Are the people complaining about this XI players? This is almost easier and more laid out than XI's bs hidden elemental system and directions. At least you don't have to craft in a cardinal direction LOL. You may though if some figures out for sure the cardinal directions and their elements. Also FF is a world no matter what, so you can look up into the sky and see the elements in the stars, if you can't get a new gpu haha. But the proof for elements and cardinal directions is there.

Yoshi-P said he might take this out btw, or at least I think he did by saying "they were complex things in equations" that they were looking into from previous team. SO not confirmed but definitely something to ponder about.

You know I'm okay with this elemental calculations that affect crafting. But for crying out loud SE. Let us know one way or the other instead of letting the community come up with superstitious theories!

From what I could tell the FFXI stuff was valid, even though SE never said one way or the other if it worked or not.

SE shouldn't be so secretive about fishing,synthesis. stuff.

I understand not wanting to give out the numbers and having ppl find ways to abuse the system. But making a guide is perfectly okay! We don't need to know the exact calculations. Leave that for the Min-Max'ers lol

I'm just not a fan of spreading stuff that is neither confirmed, nor denied. It's player made stuff and the players don't know it, they just assume. As I said before...this whole elemental thing is all readable in books inside the CON/THM/Arcanist Guild...but they are mages, they are completely relieing on elemental properties of their spells, so what of that actually refers to crafting? Exactly, nothing.

As an update, I think that I may have listed the elemental hours / moon phases off by +/- half of their times... Seems that the listed times for the moon phases are for the peek of each phase, not the beginning of that phase. So I'm guessing that the elemental hours are also listed as peek times, and +/- 30 minutes
