As of late on my sever I have seen several, at least 15-20 level 50 thm's. Normally I would think nothing of it, but they all look the same with random names that you would see the gil sellers with. Wearing the DL robe and mixmatched with low level gear. They have no grand company or free company. They are in mor dona until they que for df and are gone.

I just find it odd how there are so many of these people popping up suddenly. I've debated about reporting these people, but was told not to because they could all be 'noob friends'. Which even noob friends would be something different I would think. And really have so many?

Just wondering if this is happening on other servers or if it is just on mine.

Probably some dungeon exploit to earn gil fast, like WP beetle farming before they made it so the beetles don't drop gil anymore.

Well, I can say I've seen groups of THMs since beta just sitting out in places like the Black Shroud spamming Blizzard 2 for literal days (I also see WHMs spamming Holy), and I have seen more than a few botting THMs in Guildhests (teleports underground to the boss/target, etc), so, you may not be too far off. Unfortunately there is always that chance that yes, they're, as you put it, "noob friends," it's just unlikely.

You could report them and you don't have to worry about repercussions since that's the GMs' job to investigate, but don't expect anything to come of it.

Generic Hyur name with one letter appended. No GC, no FC. Joined a party out of the blue and instantly disappeared (no DF queue). Worm-eaten Square Shield for a shield, Hero's Ring of Healing for a ring. Someone derped up script that chose the wrong item. Report and move on.

i see theses kind of bots from time to time. always following each other as if someone was multi-boxing the crowd. i normally see them in their infancy running the cities main story quests then as their levels rise i see them in sb gear, disappear for a moment then reappear which i assume is their way of Q'ing for a dungeaon killing the first room and exiting (much like reg ppl do for exp) i have reported 3 groups in the past and have never seen them again. but tbh, i dont witch hunt & continue to be on the look out for a particular name so they could very well be still around. gotta say as time goes on and the 'economy' changes, so do the bots and what they do.

I've seen tons of them too. They'll all be the same class, same level, with all crazy names like Gjaowjih Olajwi. Will spot them alot of times around aetheryte crystals in main cities. I try to hurry and blacklist them before they dissappear to do whatever naughty exploit they are up to at the time.
