Completely 100% agree with Amas in post #115. Luckily I pre-empted this crap a while ago and began leveling PUG...I'll miss archer though.

Dont get what the problem is, or why the "Nature of the Armoury" system has anything to do with it, you can equip shield on 3 classes doesnt change you from them classes it just equips.
I think this is lame excuse of they cant be bothered to do the animations.
Awesome idea! I had thought up the same one myself! Option 1 for me also! ^__^ Archer using his fists with his bow in his hands would look kinda weird during auto-attack anyway.With the new info coming out this morning that archers auto attack will use their bare fists, I'd like to ask that with the planned adjustments down the line, to give them a dagger that they will use for auto attack.
I wouldn't think any archer would want to damage their bare fists hitting some mob which would make it impossible to fire a bow later (lore).
You could do this in one of two ways.
- Allow them to equip a dagger in their sub slot and only use it within auto attack range.
- Or make the dagger be apart of a set along with the bow itself.
I vote for option 1.
Anyway, looking forward to the changes, keep up the good work.
The armory system seems to be an excuse for a lot of things.
Can't add secondary weapons for classes or melee for ranged classes? Scrap the armory system then. This is going to be a recurring theme for class balance and limitations in the future; get rid of it now before it becomes too complex to fix.
