Clearly we need the green chicken as a minion. I'm not going to be shocked if one of the NPCs insists it's the legendary green strain of chocobo.

Oh man he needs an ultimate attack mechanic where you swap the Excalibur with the Excalipoor in order to survive it.
Fools! You face the mightiest swordsman in all Eorzea! You face me! Gilgamesh! Long have I sought the blade of Legend... scoured have I the furthest marches, East and West! Now my search brings me here, to you! Your weapons are forfeit to me!
A true paladin... will sheathe his sword.
In his FFXII incarnation, Gilgamesh would spawn more arms as he would draw more weapons (each one a weapon from a previous game up until he drew the Tournesol from XII) as the fight progressed. No doubt that's how it goes.
ohgodohgodohgodohgod, i dont think my body will ever be ready for this, but thats fine.
Haha, I wonder if there's any truth to what was mentioned about how his battle in ARR is going to work, in that if you lose to him, you lose your weapon (if so, I can see a lot of players getting around that by simply equipping a trash weapon for the fight as security so they don't lose their relic etc). And is that green chicken supposed to be my namesake??? o.o
Either way, I cannot wait for this!![]()
Sadly that will not happen since this is Pre-Excalibur Gilgamesh set during the time frame when Gilgamesh is still looking for Excalibur.
Only Post-Excalibur Gilgamesh appearance is in FF8. Every other appearance has been set in Pre-Excalibur Timeframe including this one.
I'm still waiting for SE to explain how Pre-Excalibur Gilgamesh obtains Excalibur and becomes Post-Excalibur Gilgamesh. They'll probably explain how Gilgamesh loses three of his right arms as well when Se finally reveals how Gilgamesh becomes Post-Excalibur Gilgamesh.
