This is important...
a lot of player judge the game on graphic, even with the new shadder if the texture are bad, people will simply don't play it. we do have good pc available, the fact to offer the OPTION to have better texture for a pc game it's a must have! they have no real good reason to not do it!
I don't think the number of people like tat are high to begin with. Even if you PC can do fantastic graphics if it brings the gameplay down(as in FPS) then you shouldn't be using such high textures anyway. Gameplay over graphics.
FPS will be high as long as you have a powerful PC, it doesn't matter so if you don't have one just lower graphic settings.
Its not just about Hi texture pack only but even moving a character feels like moving an object, no movement animation like stopping~turning left or right, i'll have to repeat this till they notice & understand~ this is an immersion killer.
no sorry but we must stop the game fps will depend of the capacity of your computer, if you simply dump a massive texture into a low end computer yeah the fps will be hurted... but the fact to offer the possibility to have better texture is needed! we don't say to simply put all the texture in High, but to offer the option. no one will be hurt, it's simply offering more than less... i don't even see why people are arguing with this.
Yeah, a lot of these textures are painful to look at. I'd love some more graphics options.

I liked how DX11 looks on developers blog!
But we need Hi Res Texture Pack~![]()
Dev's post was nice but gosh so small screenshot we can't even see the differences very well. If you open those photos on different tabs and switch between them only then you can see the differences. From what I saw from those tiny screenshots is reflections on floors, way better and stronger SSAO and maybe it was my imagination but I saw better lighting too. They also confirmed faster processing (DX11) which will improve efficiency DX11 water (its way better than the stupid fake quicksilver water of DX9) and they also mentioned something about uncompressed textures (this one supposed to make textures look better than now without increasing their resolution). Still nothing about higher res textures and maybe it won't come at all. They also mentioned about adding more DX11 features in the new DX11 client in the future (I will bet on new AA and HBAO+). The DX11 client will be included in the new benchmark this month.
