High res texture pack, please. Maxed out FFXIV is sitting at only 800MB of graphics RAM consumed.

Would love hires textures, parts of the game just look disgusting.
@ OP: This is the only thing I miss from ver 1.0. The textures in that engine were damn right amazing, you were able to see the details down to every fabric fiber.
I would also like to see a high resolution texture for this game. The DirectX 11 client seems it won't have any improvements over the game's textures which is sad. Please devs reconsider this.
While they're at it, increase the mesh volume and bring back the butts.
I find it annoying that the Ironworks stuff is so pixelated
I like the ideaBut maybe some people's computers won't be able to handle them so they don't do it? Idk. But I would very much like high res texture pack.
Thos people can still play with the old client without the high res pack or upgrade to a newer pc (if they can afford it ofc). In any case it's absurb the game is so pixelated and dull. While the shadows and lighting is really good the textures are so low res that I can see it even when Im not full zoomed or stick my face on the monitor. When I remove my armour in game the skin is sooo bad that look worse even from games created years ago. Same for hair and armour. It's also really bad on mount's skin too. (horses look terrible). I would not care for the visuals but this game is good and I also pay for it. If it wouldn't look so bad I would not care. I'm really happy enhanced visuals are coming with the DX11 client but I don't see anything concerning the terrible textures we have here.
It should be a choice, they added high rez textures in SWTOR, all you have to do is select it in the graphics options. Texture resolution alone isnt really all that taxing anyways on any modern video card. The textures are way too low rez for a game that just came out last year, you have to be way zoomed out for this game to look good.
