Considering that we play with the camera zoomed out fairly far, do you think replacing all the textures with "high resolution" ones will result an any noticeable detail difference. Probably not.

I beg to differ. Low resolution vs. medium resolution, fully zoomed out and in flight:

The difference is even more noticeable where both textures merge.
