I'm subbed for a year. I don't play as much as the coil players but I assume at this rate there will be enough endgame stuff next year to go all out with pursuing all that. For now I'm leveling my crafts and pretty much waiting for patches to bring more stuff to do.
I feel like after I capped my first 50 there's not really a reason to leave town ever so that kind of open world mid level stuff is content that I'm waiting for the most. Otherwise leveling all battle classes now would feel like a waste.

In fact, GW was a failure!
Irony aside, players that you not see play anymore, cannot be instantly classified as players that had quit. Some players simply switched to a different world, or had made a new character, without delete the one you met in game. If (Delete) comes, more likely the player still playing, because had the time to remove a character, maybe to create a new one and have the 1 character per world limit. Add to this, players with a job and family that have a sub but cannot play so often, but keep sub active to be able play whenever they wants.

this is the first time i actually subed for 2 months. everytime before that i would never do more then a month at a time.
i only did that cuz a friend asked me to come play. im really not a big fan of movement based battles. i been bitching about more strat based combat since 2011. so it depends. will i sub again? will se actualy earn it? or will my friend save you again.

Subbed for 3 months now, wont quit even though I see problems, I continue to support SE because the game is worth supporting

Has been subbing since arr starts. Will keep subbing until forever or new ff online game emerges (on console), just becausee i can.

I'm really liking this game, I enjoy playing with my boyfriend and all the people I met in game. I was interested in some other games, but not so interested that I'd turn my sub off or stop playing this. I'm looking forward to personal housing coming out, new dungeons, new hairstyles.. little nickknacks like that. Also chocobo raising. This is my first FF online game and I'm having a blast so far. It had a rough start with all the server issues but I think its smoothing out. I am however, a little worried about personal housing prices since I was nearly blown away by FC prices but I think even if I can't get a personal house, I may at the very least max all my crafts and jobs to 50 before I think about retiring my character.
I love collecting the cute minions <3

We have recently had a sizeable chunk of our FC abandon the game to go over to TESO.
This is what happens with all MMORPGs. They launch, they are filled with tons of people... a shiney new AAA MMORPG launches, a bunch of people leave.
My advice... don't focus on the people who left, focus on the people who are still around. Life is much more fun that way.
Till Destiny comes out. ESO looks cool though, might try that out too!
I still have a month and a half sub, and I will renew it. I love this game and have waited so long to play. I guess I understand ppl who leave... I wouldn't pay for sth I don't consider fun or worth the money. For now, I am having tons of fun with the game!
If Golden Saucer doesn't come for 2.3 I might cancel my subscription and wait for it to come.
