Fyi, the runner up ring (Aetheryte Ring) is more used and is BiS for crafters. I personally use the Meteor ring when I'm Spiriting Bonding items, which is seldom.

The Chocobonding ring seems to be called the Gyasahl ring

This is the info I found on XIVDB. Dunno what quest gives it to you though. Will have to hunt around for it.
