Fallen? Cucco... Errrr, Chickens are not to be messed with... Heck, this one appears to have defeated its mortal foe, the green pot smashing devil, and now wears its colours with pride. Clearly a formidable enemy.

I hope Gilgamesh is a pushover in the fight and Enkidu provides the challenge, lol.

This all day... Multi-part battle with increased difficulty. I really really hope that it isn't instanced and that he has a Dunegon leading up to him much like how in XII we had the Lhusu Mines leading up to him. In addition, I would like him to be insanely difficult. Thank You.

In the fighting Scene with Gilgamesh he only uses 2 Arms, so i guess its just a "starting" Series of Fights, until he is using all 8 Arms and his Full Strength..

One Arm is wielding a Samurai Sword in the XIV Concept Art, and another is wielding a Morningstar.. not to mention Excalibur ( actually looks more like Caliburn ). Could that be a tease leading to "Legendary Weapons", which were mentioned in the 2.0 Content Roadmap?

Because people will cry that "He's too hard to fight alone!" and SE will cave in and make him a 4 man battle. Or worse, an 8 man one lol.

Let me predict:

- Sidequest Gilgamesh is using 2 Arms and 1 Weapon, so not really strong.
- Future Patch he will get a ( Hard Mode ) Fight, using 4 of his Arms.
- Future Update he will get an ( Extreme Mode ) Fight, using 8 of his Arms.

The player character is stand-alone in the Hildibrand quests. I don't see why the fight with Gilgamesh would be any different.

All that'd prove is that the warriors of light are stupidly weak if 8 of them have to gang up on a guy that has been fighting one-on-one duels.

Great set up for the new race, do you think she is Viera though? or maybe those are horns.

If thats a tease for Viera then its not a very good one. Not very tall for starters and if those are covered "bunny ears" then theyre the strongest most horn shaped "bunny ears" I have ever seen. Sure, they couldve purposefully done this to throw us off but IMO they wouldve just been better off hiding the ears completely under the hood. Nah I doubt this is a Viera, though I suppose its still possible.
