- Remove Duty finder! It's more fun to grind in the open world!
- Raids can be accessed via Instance portal.
I don't like the idea of limiting the teleport though.

Seriously though, the only thing that's been suggested so far that's an actual increase in difficulty is having more difficult mobs and the quest for the chocobo. The rest of these things just take up more time. Why not just call it "Time Wasting Mode" server?

The obsession of 1.0 players to turn this game back into 1.0 is amazing. There is a reason they bricked the entire game and rewrote it.You know what would be awesome? Hard mode servers!
- You don't get tele and mount until 30 or something like that and they're locked behind a difficult quest
- tele's use anima like in 1.0 instead of gil
- certain areas of the maps are filled with dangerous mobs
- all world mobs in general are much tougher but also give higher exp giving people the option to grind old school style.
- you have to run to a dungeon to enter it
- NO DUTY FINDER
- And other similar difficulty increases.
I'm sure many people would happily move to a server like this and it would let different types of players get what they want.
Feel free to post anything you would like to see on a hard mode server, I'm interested to hear what kind of difficulty increases people would enjoy.
As much as I would like it, they can't even keep their current servers stable, much less introduce new ones.
Not to mention that there are actually people in this game who think leveling (!) takes too long, so I guess we wouldn't see much people on those servers, which means no profit for SE.

No thanks, there was a reason why they remade 1.0 most of those reasons are why people wouldn't play the game.

Make it so that your character is permanently lost if he dies, just like IRL.
If that's not hardcore enough for you than I dunno...
Lets make Hard Mode Servers so difficult that newbie characters can hurt themselves with their weapon because they arent proficient yet. They take bleed damage, dying while fighting mobs! And then they have to recover for 6 hours in the Inn before you can go back out!
But really, OP your suggestions are just time consumers. This is not an attack @ you. im glad you brought up the topic, but different suggestions should be made. Dont ask me for any; im content with the difficulty of the game right now (Ex primals, slow Gathering, Coil). I use up too much time on the game as is, id rather not have to run to dungeons.

* Remove "abandon duty" in dungeons (to get out of the dungeon wait until time is out or kill the endboss)You know what would be awesome? Hard mode servers!

* First mount obtainable at level 50 (to get the old 1.0 feeling back before Chocobo came ingame ^^)
* put in Hamlet Defense to unlock the Relict quest

There's no point in this if they're having hard time maintaining servers as it is. You already hard and extreme mode on bosses so stop living in 1.x eraYou know what would be awesome? Hard mode servers!
