What a childish jerk, glad you reported him. I wonder if you asked the other tank to pop hallowed ground (if he was a paladin) or all his cooldowns would it have allowed you enough time to get a vote kick window open if your character was dead?

Well... the tank trolling did cost great deal amount of gear damage, and the gil cost for repairs (or dark matters for self repair). That should be around 1.5k - 2k for the whole set.
And there's 7 ppl suffer because of him. That's 7 x 2k = 14k gil.
And with market issues these days, it's not easy to earn money too.
It's not just harassment anymore, he also steals your money in a way. Definitely report it.

lol owned. sorry that happened to you. but still owned

I wouldn't really classify that as being "owned" because he was on my team. If he had easily beaten me in the Wolfs Den, then sure, I got "owned" because he was my opponent. It's like playing Hardcore S&D in CoD 4 and your teammate takes out a RGP and kills his own teammates repeatedly with it. Does that consider him owning his own team? Or was he just being a dick? When you say "own" it's like congratulating him on a job well done. Which would encourage him to do it again; as most trolls eventually do anyway.

im saying owned because you pay to play and for 30 mins or however long it whent on. the party was helpless to a massive troll attackI wouldn't really classify that as being "owned" because he was on my team. and se does nothing. sounds pretty owned to me. reguardless if it was right or wrong. i vote wrong. but still funny.

And I don't think being a jerk on here with terrible grammar helps either.
Honestly, you should just throw in a report with the detail of what happened, OP.
I hope you reported him OP. Sorry that happened to you. I found tanks like this a lot in CT and I reported them, the GMs responded that they will look into it and never blew me off. In my experience GM's have been really good at addressing this type of behavior and never once have I been dismissed.

I had a VERY similar event happen with a WHM in Ultima one time. We wiped twice, this WHM starts doing down the list telling people what to do, then runs an eruption right up to where the tank was standing in the 3rd attempt, I'll assume as an accident. Someone, but presumably him, initiates a 'Vote Abandon' but it fails. A minute or so goes by and no one leaves, so we figure everyone will give it another go. Well, the WHM just stands in the very back not moving and after one of the tanks says
'Alright, let's try again' he says 'No thank you' and we proceed to wipe. We vote-kicked him afterward, but it was just giving him what he wanted I guess. =/
It's frustrating to say the least.

just close the game client.
Be the better player and just leave after u die.
Trolls get no satisfaction if u don't put up a fight.
Leave, report.
If this was a PF/ pug group, just leave cuz there is no penalty.
If this was a DF party, just take the penalty hit and save everyone else the grief.
Cuz just leaving is much better than dying over and over again.
Also u get revived after an instance if u were dead now.
Looks to me like ur party got outplayed by a fussy tank.
" fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me."
