Yeah, my very first Garuda HM (way back in September or so) had a BLM throw a fit after a wipe, start spewing obscenities at the tank, take off all his gear, and start pulling Garuda to wipe the group. Obvious harassment, right? Not according to CS.

I don't believe that, because they give copy and paste responses and then say they can't tell you the outcome. And its always the same copy and paste. They have one for each of the reporting options. And its griefing. As other person said.

I don't have the response from back then, but it was something along the lines of, "Unfortunately pulling is a gameplay mechanic that anyone is free to do as they see fit". Definitely not just the form "Thank you for reporting, cannot tell you the outcome, etc.". Was total BS.

Their server logs will tell the GMs exactly what is going on and it's obvious this is not abuse of the vote kick system, now trying to vote kick someone because they are new is abuse.

@OP All you can do is report the tank for harassment, on 2 cases here, first abuse of the vote kick system, as he tried to vote kick someone because he was new, no other reason. If he didn't want to play he should have sucked up the 30 min penalty for leaving as he was the only one who was impatient. Also constantly pulling Ultima to troll you is also harassment. Just look his character up on the lodestone to find his server, if there are multiple options (based on class level and gear) just say "either server x, y or z and they will have the logs to see who was in the instance with you.

That's awful. I'm getting so tired of people who foam at the mouth at the drop of a hat. I can only imagine how fun they are to be around in real life.

For the trolling, I believe you can disconnect for 11 minutes, and it should boot you out of the dungeon with no penalty. At least that's what I've heard, I could be wrong on that, so hopefully someone will come around to confirm. It sucks that you would have to be the one to take that step, but it's the only workaround for now if someone is going to be that big of an ass.

There really needs to be a place for player warnings. I get that things can turn ugly real fast in those type of threads, but having your reputation follow you around would deter at least some of the asshats.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't violate anything there. If enough people had hit "yes" then clearly that means enough people in the group wanted him gone.

What he did was griefing and is actually a form of harassment.

Stay dead, don't return or accept raise, and open the menu. You should be able to vote kick or leave the duty while still dead, and if everyone other than the tank stays down you'll have some time between his deaths and returns with no extra deaths of your own.

Edit: After watching some videos, looks like I'm wrong. If the whole party dies you get auto-rezzed, so that kills that idea. As long as someone can get away, though, you should still be able to get into the menu and initiate the vote while dead.

I'm going to assume, as I've never run the fight in question, that like the HM primal fights when everyone is dead it starts over automatically? Or am I wrong?

Tbh, I had funny exp in Prae when my FC and I went to help one of our newbies finish it. Random tank joins through DF (7/8) and he tries to wipe us after realizing that we were gonna let our FC mate watch cs. We did try to talk to him before all of this but he got really nasty w/ us. So we reported him and vote kicked him out of group. Smooth run afterwards~
