why is it important to level 1 class to 50 then the rest opposed to leveling them all at the same time?
also other than doing fates is there a way to level each class through questing? if not other than fates what else is there at low to mid levels?

Who says it's important to level one class to 50 before you level anything else?
Doing dungeons is a good way to get both XP and gear upgrades.
well the problem i am running into..i want to level all classes through questing maybe some dungeons but hoped to not as much..when one quest, the selection of a reward to be chosen. do you take for what youre leveling, do you take for what you level next etc etc

I would pick the reward for my "main" class, i.e. the one you're currently leveling or the one you're enjoying most and you think you want to spend the most time with. If neither of the offered rewards is an upgrade you can pick one for one of your "alts" to use later, but really, it's up to you and I think you have your own answers to these questions![]()

For quest rewards I always took the cash because I was leveling crafting at the same time and making my own stuff
By the way, the quests don't reset when you are leveling a different class so you can only complete each quest once - so don't rely on the quest rewards for your equipment.
The only reason to level one class first is that all lower level classes receive a 50% xp boost. So it is better to have one "highest" class but it doesn't need to be much higher than the others.
Other than quests, do your hunting log and guildhests.

To start working on weekly content (Mythology tomestones, Binding Coil, Crystal Tower, among other things) sooner rather than later.
Also the Armory Bonus; every combat class you have that is lower level than your highest level class (or: every non-50 if you have a 50 for simplicity) gets an exp boost from kills and FATEs.
XI: Zeroblade, Titan Server

I would level like-classes together, for gear efficency.
level caster classes together while their gear sets are the same, that way you dont re-purchase gear you've turned into materia multiple times.
tank classes together
dps together
i'm currently doing pretty much all of my remaining Crafting classes in 10 level jumps so i only need 1 set of gear for each level bracket.

you dont even need gear ever 10 lvs for crafting/gathering, i have a lv1 set, lv15 set, lv30 set and then get the lv50 set, just meld some materia to it since your doing htem all anyways
so far have 5/8 doh and 2/3 dol
as far as rushing 1 job to 50 i did it for the exp bonus on everything after and have 9/9 now and 9/9 relics for achievements lol

Well in my case i want to level whm to 50 but do not want to have to do the dungeons, lol - Ok will not lie i sort of just wanted the Unicorn, lol
So having completed all of the main story with my Bard it saves me from having to do so or i can choose what dungeons to run and not be forced in order to progress with the story.

There's not enough quests to level each class to 50 so you'll have to do some of the other methods. (Dungeons, FATEs, Hunt Logs, Levequests, Daily Quests)
Most people focus on one class initially so they can get to max level and do the high level content that's available, but I don't know if that's necessarily a big motivator for you or not. At the very least you'll want each class to 15 to unlock Jobs for each class, and if you have nearly every class to 34 you'll have access to each cross class ability as well.
