I loathe the trend in most games to force people to play with a single guild/LS.
I certainly don't want to be stuck with the same bunch of people all the time. I don't have a single group of friends in real life, why would I be forced to in a game?

I Agree
I have diffrent group of friends in real life.
And I will not choice to be part of one or the other.
Also no one is forcing anyone to have more than one linkshell.
You want just the one that is fine.
But a lot of ppl are saying stick to the one ls or else.
To these ppl.
Adapt or die out.

All your base are belong to us.
In my eyes, it is an issue at the moment in this game because it fills up a lot of link shells and you need to keep remaking the shell. I see no problem with having more then one as long as you do spend some time in them, in XI I had my end game shell and my social that I had from the start. In XIV, I see a lot of people who just hang on to a whole bunch even if they don't go there anymore. It's a waste of space for that link shell to have them, but they can't boot them.

That's not related to the maximum number of LS. It's only because we can't properly administer them and because people tend to leave quicker in this game. Limiting to one LS wouldn't solve much and would bother a lot of players.
Hell, having more than one guild is one of the prime features of FF14 at this moment.
