    Minor tank balancing ideas. (WAR & PLD)

    Thought these up to balance aoe threat on PLD and reactive mitigation on WAR, making the classes slightly more dynamic to play.

    + Warrior +
    Inner Beast:
    Half the original potency. Absorb 200% of damage dealt as HP. (Off Global Cooldown)

    + Paladin +
    Shield Bash:
    Delivers an attack with a potency of 1/2 of Block Strength. (Off Global Cooldown, no TP cost.)

    Circle of Scorn:
    Additional Effect: 5% chance Scorn\\'s Spin will activate. (Stacks with multiple mobs, works per tick like windbite)

    Scorn\\'s Spin:
    Delivers an attack with a potency of 100 to all nearby enemies. (Off Global Cooldown, only available from Circle of Scorn additional Effect)

    Is there something wrong with the Tank classes presently? I have no AoE hate issues on PLD myself...

    You want to revert the change to WAR's best ability and nerf it on top of that?

    if you want to add an ability...you must first remove one. Would much rather see a Shield Swipe rework.

    That inner best change... Wouldn't that make it like it was before the warrior changes?

    1. I see that your "Warrior" is level 19. Tell us more about how you find Inner Beast is not balanced. Your proposed changes makes it much much worse than original Inner Beast. It's effectively what we heal now without the 20% damage reduction.
    2. Bad idea to have a skill potency to be related to an item stats. It means it'd be very hard to balance for all contents level.
    3. CoS already has effectively 250 potency. You want a 5% chance to make it 350? Not happening.

    I should note, these are just the parts that would be changed (I.e. Inner beast still mitigates 20% damage for 6 seconds, however does half damage with double heal and works off the global cool down).

    Half damage but at 200% = current damage with 100%. It's a useless change. The only benefit is off GCD. These changes are terrible.

    No. Original IB was current potency with 300% DMG absorbed as HP. No 20% DMG reduction.

    That may stem from Kitru's analysis of needing to reduce potency to keep average DPS numbers equal between PLD and WAR.

    I've been wondering why CoS doesn't have an enmity modifier, I guess one for OT situations, two I guess it is also a 250 potency AoE attack, which is what, the second most powerful AoE attack (potency-wise)?

    1. Look up "Taal Kheru" for the account I play on.
    2. You do realize every action's damage is based of of your weapon, right?
    3. Then remove/reduce the damage, it's to bring PLDs up to WARs aoe management levels.
