Any way to check when servers are the most active?

I am a US player playing on a EU server and am finding myself playing mostly during that servers downtime. May be time for me to transfer. Is there a way to find out when other servers are active? I tried creating a character on another server and checking PF for activity, but PF is locked out for new characters. Is there another way to check the activity of servers?

If you are on an EU server, most of the players are 7-10 hours ahead of you in time. So peak times to play...would be noon-5pm est I believe. I have a a few friends in the UK on my server who are usually in bed by around 6pm est.

If you're looking for the most active servers then check housing prices, the servers with the highest population and gil are also the most active servers for the most part and have the highest plot prices. Keep in mind, a lot of people are taking breaks right now until 2.2 so things might seem a little more dead than normal. A lot of people don't want to put extra effort into endgame since it will, for the most part, get replaced in a few weeks.

The prices are out of date.

Regardless it still depicts where all the gil is.. and therefore where the majority of players probably are. I don't think you'll find a better gauge of population anywhere else official. I doubt there's been a drastic change aside from maybe some people transferring off of legacy servers and the only other way you can really figure this out is by playing the game and watching party finder which the OP said is not possible on new characters.

Not really looking for which server is the most active, just what time of the day they are. On my server by 8pm est there is pretty much nobody on anymore.

I guess a more specific question for those of NA servers is are the server still pretty active around 8pm-1am EST area or has it shut down by then?

I know Sargatanas is active during those times. Honestly, it is active during most of the day as well. I'm sure a server like Balmung or Hyperion is the same way.
