Most profitable levequest (gil/time)

What are the most profitable leves? I found the cobalt ingot leve in St Coinach's find very easy, and reasonably profitable. I'm looking mostly at maximum gil/time.

I make or buy ilv 55 armorer gear, QS a few hundred ingots, and run a few steps from the quest giver to the turn in 30 or 40 times.

I get 1250 - 1650 gil for 9 ingots, as well as shards, ore, or whatever, and I have 100% spiritbound gear to make materia (a little less than 50% Tier IV on ilv 55 so far.) Cobalt ore is often a reward, and it's cheap on the market, vendors sell iron ore, shards are cheap, and a reward... so material costs are rather low.

Does anyone have a similar or better leve, or method they use???

Raptor leather (st coinachs) megapotion of vitality (uldah) and Mahogany lumber (gridania) would also be pretty easy leves, but higher material costs. Limsa leves require zoning for the turn in which takes time

After 2.1 adjustments, the armorer leve seems to be the most time efficient with the raptor leather turn in being a close second.

The others, as you've said, have higher material costs or require zoning.

And what I like about this leve is that, even if we spread the word, it'll mostly likely result in the reduced cost of cobalt ore and cobalt ingots, which aren't too time consuming to get started anyway.

Yup the Cobalt leve is currently the best gil/time investment. If you can handle the extra time it takes to HQ then u can double your money. However it will take much longer. I think the math was approx 250k/99 HQ levequests.

I'd love to find out other leves but they all seem to be less convenient dealing with non-stackable items and far higher material costs. I can see the Mahogany Lumber leve being good as long as you have a BTN. Does that leve reward Mahogany Logs? If so it could be a good alternative if your running low on Ice Shards. However wind shards tend to be more expensive on most servers. So i think Cobalt is still King.

I QS the ingots and I sell the HQs I happen to get on the market (for more than the leve bonus).

If the ilv 55 LTW gear were very cheap, I might switch to raptor leather jsut because the materia from spiritbound gear is such a nice addition.

Yea the SB is nice. I tend to do my SBn seperately with my Battle Classes on lvl 50 enemies while either farming (Ochu Vines, Coeurl Meat) or at Urth's Gift in Quarrymill S.Shroud. U cant equip the Armor (asside from the belt) but u can use a full set of DOH/DOL accessories. Also since u cant use armor i equip the Gambler Crown to increase the SB Rate and after the Bracelet/Rings/Neck reach 100% i equip the GC SB+ accessories to finish off the rest.

Quicksything is also a good idea, i tend to only do the low lvl stuff since Craftman Competence I still sell for 6k on my server. The low lvl gear SB's much faster as well.

I do raptor leather if the reward is the 16 skins, cobalt ingots if it is not. I have a couple thousand ingots to burn through after getting both luminaries so it works out for me in the long term. Raptor skins sell for twice as much as the leather on my server so I have the option of just marketing the skins and buying leather too for when my stockpile runs out.

Basically, you craft Boarskin Chokers, since it only requires 1 Boar Leather and 1 Hippogryph Sinew, or 3 Goatskin Chokers for 1 Aldgoat Leather and 1 Diremite Sinew each. The leves which you turn in those items reward you with more Boar Hides.

I have to look into options as well, my leves just hit 100 and I have leveled every crafting class.

Yea i've actually contacted Osiris and he's recently changed leves due to the drop in price ever since he released that video. Not to mention Boar Skins are selling for less now. I still think Cobalt Ingots is the best atm.
