    Client problem need help!

    ok, my problem is when I open the client it updates and everything no error what so ever pops up and when it shows up its pitch black all I can see is the label at top. like this

    Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Luncher 2014.01.18.000.0001

    the rest below is black as pure black window.

    I cant click on anything I left it for more than 30min I even try those fix on forum about the file FFXIV_boot etc. to many to mention but didn't help. please i really want to play the game I already paid for this month since my friend said he will join me and now this .

    Some people have had issues with security software getting in the way (adblock or something in Viper I think it was?).

    Some others have found suspicious programs in the Add/Remove Programs list (appwiz.cpl), or running in the background when they pull up task manager that were the root of their issues (can launch Task Manager from the menu you get when you right-click the task bar, or hit CTRL-ALT-DEL). May be worth running a malware scan just in case.
