Dancer Job

Dancer was a lot of fun in XI, kind of a jack of all trades, buffs, debuffs, healing, DPS, tanking, stunning. There were better jobs at all of those things individually, but few, if any, that could do all of them at once. It would be interesting to see how they would implement the job in XIV. As for the gender thing, yeah, both males and females could be dancers in XI, in Tactics I believe that it was females were dancers and males were bards? Correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a long time. Since there's already a bard in the game, and both genders can be one, I don't think that'll be the way it goes haha.

I would totally play Dancer, it was my most favourite job in FFXI (followed by RDM and SMN).

But then again, it would kinda depend on how Dancer plays in this game (is it a healer or DD). SE already managed to not make me wanna play SMN...

I don't think dancers will ever make it into ffxiv unless they find an equivalent for a male only gender locked job.

Male dancers also in III, FF4warriors and XI. I find that wiki text misleading.

I think it would be cool if we had duo conbos like IX.

Imagine syncing a move with the party bard using a DNC.

I don't think dancer is as unique as PUP because there's literally no job that is that complex and deep. The automaton was so easy to fall in love with because each part was a massive investment of planning and effort.

I LOVED DNC in 11. However, there really isn't much point to them in 14. In 11, you could solo stuff that would take 3 or 4 people otherwise... there's nothing in the game outside of an instance you can't solo on ANY class in 14.

If they add Dancer, unlocking that is going to be the first thing I do in whatever patch they add it in. How much I play it at level cap will honestly depend on the mechanics and such, but I want to love it. If it's similar to XI's Dancer (front line healer/support), I'll be all over it.
