game is not hooking onto scroll lock key

Hello,

This happen to me in beta and I could not find a way to fix it. The game will just stop taking input from the scroll lock key, preventing me from hiding the UI. The only way I found around this was to set it to another key. Anyone know a way I can get the game to get input from the scroll lock key again?

so the only fix seems to be reinstall the game....I'd rather not do that, dose anyone else know anything I could try? My scroll lock key dose work, I can see the scroll lock light up and turn off, the game itself is just not garbing the input of the key.

Could it be held/used by another application outside of FFXIV or a hotkey set on it on system-level? I had similar issue with CTRL-ALT-- and CTRL-ALT-=.

Try set a secondary keybind in addition to SCROLL LOCK or replace it with another keybind.

Along the lines of the "it's your keyboard" reasoning, is there a function (Fn) key on your keyboard? I know with the keyboard i got with my new machine, I have to hold that button down to get at Scroll Lock (and Print Screen for screenshots, for that matter).

It is only FF14 that is not hooking onto the scroll lock key. I have used it in other apps and it works just find. I even did a keyboard test and it is working. Also my keyboard is the G15 keyboard so I do not have an "Fn" key.

The only thing I change on my system was that I over clock my GPU but I do not see how that would be link to the keyboard.
