Request to DEVS: Make your cross overs more up to date.

I loved the lightning returns event, but the only thing from lighting returns that was brought to this game, was Snow's Ice Axe thing. What we mostly got were stuff that dates back to the very first game of the series. Nothing in that event advertised for lightning returns except maybe a subtle cliff hanger cinematically wise. Even that is pushing it.

I was really hoping for things like, Lumina's hair, Hope's hair, some lightning returns costumes.

I would love if you added at least Lumina's hair, which would be very symbolic to the game due to her being a new major character. So if it's not too late, you should add that hairstyle. And if you must add another male hairstyle, I recommend Hope's.

Curious but why do you say that?

I, unfortunately, just started playing this game and missed out on most of the lightning quest but I thought it was a really neat way to try and tie FF worlds together. Probably my biggest dislike of the FF franchise is that each game has very little to do with any other game (With notable exceptions of the direct sequels). I would love to see more cross-game content especially if they used older FF such as 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.

I think FFX HD is a great excuse to make a FFX crossover event. Just make sure it involved Auron and not Tidus :P

Curious but why do you say that?

Because I dont want this game to just turn into a final fantasy theme park (come see all your favorie characters kids!) when there is SO much potential for it to be its own world, its bad enough that the crystal tower is here, we dont need more. (and yes im aware im using something from the lightning event, its the best hairstyle I can use at the moment.)

I honestly don't know why there isn't a reverse option for hairstyles. They have it for face paints so why not hair?

For example, the Lightning Returns and FFXI gave us a lot of questions lore-wise. Eventually you just have to be like "Well I guess that's what aether does". Maybe if SE were more clear as the means of how these figures end up in our world, I wouldn't mind it so much.

However, I do like homages to the games. Things like Magitek, Ultima Weapon, Crystal Tower, and the like are good because while they are references to other FF titles; they are still a part of FFXIV's lore and personality.

Actually, Shantotto's arrival madep erfect sense. Several years ago, SE released a mini-expansion called A Shantotto's Ascension. It involved Shantotto accidentally creating a portal to another world and temporarily getting trapped there. That world was Eorzea. It's been in Eorzean lore since the game was released (Do the quest to unlock BLM for more info.)

During the cross-over event, Shantotto said she was stuck here, right? It falls exactly in line with the lore from that expansion.
