The need for zones with inaccessibility, Sneak/Invis

What do I mean by inaccessibility? I just mean that at least a few parts of future zones should have some areas accessible to full alliances, but generally inaccessible to others.

A new region would have accessible and inaccessible zones. The accessible zones may have mobs increasing in level as players approach the zone lines to the alliance level zones. This would be a good area for 8man content. There would then be 2-3 alliance zones.

These zones would have cap level content and cater to players wanting exploration based content. Bring back Sneak/Invis for these areas. This would make it so that solo players could explore these areas. Gathering in these zones may even be possible that way. There would not be as many aetherites, and they would act as checkpoints. There are many more possibilities for this kind of zone including open world dungeons. FCs need this kind of 24man content.

Does anyone else support something like this to help bring the world back to life?

Best way to bring the world back alive is to add content people actually want to play, something that's legitimately fun. Adding in overwhelming content isn't going to fix that problem.

Back when people were crying to add more exp to dungeons the world was vibrant and alive with people running all over the place running FATEs. They were getting together in groups, recruiting for parties, etc.

Now people are crying that the worlds are empty - your never going to be satisfied with what you have, period.

Um..i would think adding a challenge to this game (that which you call overwhelming) would be a good thing. If you are too scared to go into those areas, then don't go! There are plenty other things for you to do. But for people who like the feel of fear or sense of accomplishment (which is fun to me), I say put these areas in for them! Like you say, people won't be satisfied with what they have, but at least give them the options!! That is the key thing we don't have here. Yes, Yoshi intentionally made this game casual friendly, that's cool. But the last time I checked casual didn't mean non-challenging.

I've been wondering why fates were being left alone as I've been playing. I had to stop playing for a few months and found it kinda empty compared to before. People wreck things so badly

I'm just saying that when expansion zones are added they need to contain content for soloers, parties, AND alliances. The alliance areas would likely be overwhelming for a party or solo player if they tried to fight anything, but pretty easy for a 24 man. I'm just afraid the zones they add will be just like the original ones: All zones that a solo level 50 can explore and complete easily. It's great if a few like that are added, I'm only asking for a couple alliance zones to bolster 24 man content while adding an exploration aspect to the open world.

And just what reason would anyone have to form an ALLIANCE for open world trash-hunting?

HNMs? They don't NEED zones where non-raiders can't go .. to me, those who call for 'alliance only' content are this game's version of 'raiders needs exclusive content' in most other MMOs.

BTW, V1 had zones like this .. Mor Dhona had some mobs way, way over the level 50 cap players had, I have screenshots showing level 89 'hogs' whatever they were called, as just one example .. and alliances only went there for HNMs, the rest of the time it was empty of players, a totally worthless zone and a waste of the developers' time creating it.

in 1.0, we have 4 type of mob aggro: sight, sound, true sight, and true sound. It sure was really thrilling when we're trying to tag faraway aether which has lvl 80-99 mob with true aggro & sight camping around that aether, even sometimes need to ask a friend to sacrifice him/her, so that I can pass through to reach it. lol

Now in ARR, we only have 1: sight. You can just literally run or even bumped their back, and they wouldn't give a shit.
oh... we do also have sound aggro, but they're only in dungeons. lol

in 1.0, we have mob as high as lvl 99. It sure heck as fun when we always had to walk around aggro sound- lvl 99 Treant to reach King Mog battle entrance. lol

Now? only max lvl 50 mob. And they even hit like a dairy too. lol

    So... what's the point? lol

lol, u're half right. they're sound aggro. Just tested on walking around it, and it doesn't aggro. switching back to running does aggro.
