I was reading the recent patchnotes 2.16 when I came across this
I thought AWESOME DS4 SUPPORT!The following settings have been added to the System Configuration menu:
Display Settings (Windows version only)
General
Enable wet surface effects.
Gamepad (Controller) Settings
Gamepad (Controller) Settings
Gamepad Type (Windows version only)
- X○□△ + Touchpad
Enable auto-run
- L1 + Left Stick
- LB + Left Stick (XInput)
* This option is enabled by default.
Gamepad (Controller) Customization
Button Configuration
L3 and R3 Settings
- Assist Target
Other Settings
Display Limits
Character and Object Quantity (Windows version only)
* This setting cannot be changed in patch 2.16.
Open Windows (Windows version only)
Jumped on the game plugged in my DualShock 4 and changed gamepad to wireless controller with X○□△ + Touchpad
However it seems that the buttons are off. X = △, △ = ○, and ○ = X
Also L3 and R3 are swapped with Share and Options (respectfully)
Going to controller calibration does of no use as it doesn't recognize the controller when trying to set it. looking at the manual options you can clearly see DS4 buttons replacing the tradtional buttons.
Tried contacting Customer Support Live chat and they just went off about how I was wrong and it's not supported, so i showed them the image as well as the patch notes, and after some silence he is claiming it's just a typo it meant to say PS4 version and not PC (pretty big typo i'd say considering PS4 and PS3 don't have controller select options like that) and that I should bring it to the forums since there is probably more knowledge here.
PC used = Windows 8.1 with a Dualshock 4 wired
