Inside balcony door vanished in goblet mansion

Steps:
While arranging furniture near the non-functional "door" on the inside near the balcony, said "door" disappeared. It did not show up for me or other players, and nothing seemed to bring it back. After some time, it returned on its own.

In front of the door, I placed a Riviera Rug. To one side, I placed an Oasis Round Table and two Oasis Chairs. I dyed the table Orchard Brown Dye and the chairs both Mesa Red. At this point, the door was still present.

On the other side of the door, I placed a Glade Round Table and two Glade Chairs. I dyed the table Orchard Brown and the chairs Acorn Brown. At this point, I noticed the door had disappeared.

Moving or removing the furniture had no effect. Previewing a Glade Interior Wall also did not restore the missing door. Neither did changing the dye color on the chairs.

After about 20 minutes (at 3:20 PST) the door suddenly reappeared. This coincided roughly with the transition from night to day, at 6am game time.

Update: The door disappeared again at exactly 6pm game time.

It reappeared again at 6am, so it seems to be solely related to in-game time. It disappears every night and returns every morning. My FC is now amused at our "weredoor".
