And 1.0 was a flop because the game had like no money for advertisements . So those of you who play this now should be greatful that the 1.0ers paid for this game and supported it so not 1.8 million people can playAnd those people want the content you are suggesting? How about you show some evidence.
Here's SEs evidence to the contrary: 1.0 was an unparalleled flop in sales while ARR managed to earn them an operating profit last quarter. Legacy players making a chorus of forum posts is not a convincing rebuttal. Face it most mmo players are fine with the formula ARR follows.

No, it was a flop because it just wasn't finished on release, nor did it really start getting more than a finished type feel until after they started charging money again about a year later.
The only thing there was to do in 1.0 at launch was.. grinding. Nothing but grinding. No real quests, limited story. In essence, it was just plain boring. It was released more as an "alpha" state where you didn't even have any meaningful gameplay. Not because they couldn't advertise.
