When Instance Servers Go Down [Dev]

Well as we all wait for this new Patch for ARR I see that we will be able to spam Coil 1-5 and also getting new gear and get Echo Buff of some sort . We tend to over look what has been happening to the game I have played in 1.0 the first day of it coming out when tanaka I have seen alot of pro's and con's when tanaka was running things . I do not think he had the vision of having content completed primary in Instance. With Yoshida we have lost a lot in this game with tanaka we did have some sort open world content and yes you can say they came after yoshida took over but fact is yoshida in 1.0 was working off of tanaka game plan all he did was lessen the latency and add some decent content at the time but now all we do is instance everything now we can get to the meat of the topic

Few days ago instance servers went down and the world was at a stand still because of 90k yes they did a maint. fine and dandy but we were left to just either log off and or play other games . Many High level FC's have either had members leave due to the fact we are never going to get off this ride . I'm Not the best writer in this game hell if you read above i have run on sentences and other grammar issues but that does not escape the fact that we are tired of going into an instance every day in and out .

grind WP for myth waiting on a game we can be excited about . The Patch by my guessing should be out March 22nd (Speculation) and hoping an Expansion on the year aniversary of ARR . The only thing that would make this game better to play would be more open world content because with all this instance model is not working for those who have come from 11 in the new wave of subs that are wanting something more. not saying i want 21-24hr spawn times etc but give us something to compete over give meaning to being an Free Company . All that an FC is to me is a way of buying a house in game .

AND THE BIGGEST REQUEST I HAVE BEEN HEARING AROUND TOWN !!
Bring back content like Sky and or SEA to ARR the monsters dont have to drop gear they can drop crafting items .

Crafting please make this worth while with HNM's give them mats that they can then craft into armor or other items in the game . Make crafting something other then another class you level (I know there is this plan to get craft up to 100 and specialize but make it worth something .

I don't know what to suggest at this point but it is pretty boring to just have instance servers of content only. I'll bide my time for now and see how things go. Something needs to change for the better and adding more instance content is not the answer for me. Maybe others will be fine and that's ok. Just not me.

Looking at the idea being suggested, a fun way to get users to explore the world more without the use of Aether travel, I just wanted to say that we are looking into more content focused on getting players out and about.
You can imagine that Treasure Maps were created as the first idea in this vein and we're currently thinking about how to expand on that idea!
