Oh man that would be so cool if my Chocobo, Max, was able to run out of AOE attacks! The AI for the companions is already pretty good, but if they could avoid AOEs like 60% of the time... that would be FANTASTIC! It would make them function way more like a real party member.

Of course, we could argue that some real party memebers just stand there in the attack area and take damage anyway!
