Don't forget that the inactive FC timer also starts 2.3, so a month after that you might see plots open up anyway.

I saw the idea about after 35 days of inactivity FC housing would be deleted and resold. Now if I log off, cancel my subscription and in accordance with the terms we agreed with when purchasing housing, there was a set period (35 days may be a little too short) housing was removed, I can understand. Empty houses sitting around all over makes the neighborhood unattractive.
That said, if however, I log off but continue to pay you each and every month, I would suggest you leave our housing alone. If I choose to pay you every month and all I choose to do is log in once every 3 months, enter my fc housing, and sit in one of the chairs in that housing for 30 seconds and then log out, that should be my choice.
It does seem a tad short. It is one thing for an account to go inactive in subscription; however, life sometimes happens, 35 days and you loose it all because of one bad month...seems a bit rough to a loyal paying customer.
Any update on this? On Tonberry there is literally no small or medium plot left in any ward, in any of the housing estates, worldwide. Really disheartening as an FC that all that is available worldwide is a few large plots that are going at 50mil+ Gil. With the new content being released, we have no hope of being able to participate.Hello, everyone.
We do in fact have plans to add more land in the future, but I cannot promise a specific time frame at the moment.
Also, currently as of patch 2.2, houses will remain intact regardless of whether a free company is active or inactive. However, in the future, in addition to adding land, after patch 2.3 we’ll also be looking into adding a feature so when free company members haven\\'t accessed their house for 35 days (Earth time), their house and land will be automatically forfeit in order to free up the land. We\\'ll also be looking into a system that will display the remaining time until this happens.
