I don't care how it is delivered, I just want a delivery system. Flying baby chocobos find me where-ever I am? Fine.

Wouldn't that be adorable? Clutching an envelope or a package, depending on if it's a message or an item. <3

But, yeah, I actually think the retainer-as-mailbox idea makes the most sense.
