Do you know how petty this community is? Back in 1.0, Rokien was treated viciously on these boards. Can you honestly tell me you wouldn't expect him to be black listed by a ton of people just for the sake of it?

Not nearly as much as other communities I've belonged to.
700-1000 people is a LOT. Even 400 is a lot. I doubt that many would just go ahead and blist someone because some random stranger said so. But everyone blocks RMT bots.

They did have reasoning behind it though. It was poor reasoning based on his repeated ideas met with less that excitable reaction and eventually rotted into a mire of spite, but it was reason none the less. Having someone just requesting someone be blisted, especially when we know about the consequence, would make it far more unlikely to happen.

What I'd really like is a right click -> "report for RMT" option. I'm glad they made it easy to black list the RMTers but it still takes a while to report them and if you've gotten four in a row it can take a good while to fill out the form.

Edti: ^ Sometimes I'll have entire conversations in /tells so I'm not sure that would be the best idea.

And not only if they had an option to click on the name of an RMT and select "Report for RMT (or spam)" it would put them on ignore for the duration of your logging in. It won't fill up your blacklist and you won't be bothered seeing their spams in any of the various forms of chat. That, I would like to see.

By the time 400 people BL him, that RTM probably already changed 6 accounts.

Aion does that, depending on how many people blacklist x char. It flags it and the gms check it out. Buuutt there's still a ton of bots. I don't know if that's because the system or because the GMs are like non existent there.

Why the auto-suspension? Just have it auto-flag and it's immune to abuse.

And probably enough ppl. would report so SE must block bis account for investigations.

Wow had a great addon that had certain words/sentences build in and it would hide the chat from those people combined with a function you could set it to auto report these people.
Made all the difference in the world.
I wish more mmo's would like the community would make addons/mods that seem handy while the devs focus on actually making content/fixing bugs.

Make it only count toward pple get blacklist while private someone and if someone did get blacklist over 30 pple from private someone he/she deserve ban regardless rmt or not
