I just got off the phone with a square tech about my 90k that happens every half hour. They insisted it was my connection, even though my ISP confirmed that nothing is wrong with it, no interference no throttling ect. Funny thing is, been playing for about a month and this just started the other day, and it never happens with any other games just ARR. This just doesn't add up to me, and I feel helpless like I can't fix it. If it continues I will probably cancel my account

If it happens that regularly, it's probably on your own network the problem is.
Could be in-between ISP and SE, but regular disconnects like that points to your own network, or your ISP, despite what they claim.

I never lag or disconnect from Guild Wars2, Planetside 2, or any other mmo I play? I just don't understand why this game is the only one that does this.

3 consecutive 90ks in T4 Odin Server. Same group everyone was kicked. Around the 3rd dread phase. Not cool. And we never ever get 90ks

Well... their servers aren't located in Canada for starters. GW2 is Texas, Planetside 2 is California and Virginia.

Trace to an IP listed for Planetside's Jaeger server (Virginia):

The point is that you are dealing with unique routing for each one, and each can take vastly different paths, and thus can be subject to vastly different shaping issues. In this case, some key corridors leading to the limited entry points into Montreal have been having issues keeping up with the increased traffic. This can further compound issues SE has been having with some of their servers.

Fortunately, we've been able to get them to clean up a large part of our routing through the cogentco segments. That portion of our routing was once consistently breaking the 200ms mark and stalling a lot. They moved us to Level3 for while (which was a nightmare), but eventually they got us back into the much cleaner Cogent deal we are now using. Just can't get them to address that primary gateway yet at 98.25.64.1. When it's acting up like it is in these traces, the skip is really bad. When it's clean though, you'd be hard pressed to notice any lag until you hit instanced content (which is where SE is having the real trouble atm).

Thanks for clearing that up for me, seems to make more sense than what everyone else is telling me and you're definitely right about the instances being worse, I can actually expect to be 90k'ed at around the same time interval every dungeon I try to do.
