They have already said that players will not be able to just run up and stab each other, like on PVP servers in some MMOs. So.. if you don't like to PVP, just don't sign up for the PVP events they have planned, and let those of us that do enjoy a challenge have our fun?

I would even welcome instanced zones/raids where you get a choice, Do you want to enter a PVP friendly or PVE only instance of this zone. PVP instance would group those players into the same instances.
