this is not a complaint more of an issue. i been trying to level for some days now.Even with the roullette it still takes way to long to get in as a dps. I think that hey need to add a new tank and healer class and/job. This willl slove the ratio problem. I think that exp points gained should be higher so it can ge new players into endgame content faster. Also, it would help break up the boredom of going back and leveling a alt.Any other suggestions players have woukd be great! keep it clean and infomative .

Took me 13m as a dps to get into a dungeon.

I did some leve's and quested and I have no problems.

They can't do anything about it. In a game based on the holy trinity (tank, healer,dps) where they are all needed for a dungeon you're going to always be waiting in a queue as a DPS until the day comes where 75% of the population plays tanks and healers.

So all I can say is roll a tank. I did and I hardly wait for queues now. I happen to enjoy tanking so it's no big deal.

Unfortunately as has been said, adding more tank and healing classes won't fix the issue, as it's simple pragmatism - tanking and healing in dungeons carries more responsibility, hence it's just easier for a lot of players to just use a DD class where they don't have to think and just hit stuff.

It's not a problem that has an easy fix, other than maybe find some friends and create a pre-made party that overrides the class requirement and enter a dungeon as all DDs? (Before you laugh, it is actually possible, albeit it would be more difficult, but it can be done - I main healed Toto-Rak as a SMN in a pre-made party for instance, but in that particular case we still had a proper tank).

There are always alternatives, but like much in life, they may require extra effort on your part to undertake.

Tanking in the dungeons is beyond easy. Roll a tank. I heal and tank. I find healing in this game super boring but tanking is fun. You are the solution to your own problem OP.

Why do people think adding a new tank class (for example) will solve anything... Any relief to Queue times that would have would be negligible. If you add another tank class it's not going to make a bunch of people switch their roles as a dps to go play it.

I gotta ask. Is it too hard to type two additional characters and spell waiting properly? Likewise it is four extra characters to spell you're properly. This is not an SMS box where character count could kinda matter. There is a difference between lazy and efficient and that is just lazy.

You can add a million tanking and healing classes, and still those who don't want to tank or heal, wont tank or heal.
