New Raiding Linkshell

Hello, I am looking to recruit skilled players for a new raid team for coil. I plan on progressing as fast as possible in all raid content. I want to be ready for 2.3 raids asap I will be filling one of the healer roles probably Scholar.

There will be a one week trial period and interviews will be done via Team Speak 3.


The raid team will be a Link shell not a Free Company. Communication will be done via Team Speak 3.


The desired makeup will be: PLD, WARR, WMAGE, SCH, BRD, MNK/DRG, SMN, BMAGE. One dps must have a BRD off class for silence as needed.



New/unexperienced players are fine as long as you are willing to learn, take helpful criticism, and strive to be a better player and an asset to the team. Veteran's alts are also welcome.


Drama will not be tolerated in any form! Respect yourself, fellow teammates, the ffxiv community, and the developers!


The minimum gear requirement is full Dark Light and Relic weapon (or equivalent) with food/main stat potions.


Raid times: Tues/Thurs/Sunday 7-10 PM EST. Be logged in 15 minutes prior.



Loot will be main class over off class obviously, all loot will be discussed rationally in TS3 to see who would benefit most from it.

One piece per raid unless no main class needs it.

There will be no loot whores nor unfair looting!

Off class loot rules will be: Must have class at 50 and be willing/proficient enough to raid with that class if needed.



Performance Standard Rules:


If you consistently fail at the below you have a very high chance of getting replaced. Ample time will be given to learn new encounters and for inexperienced players though. A player won't get replaced for dying a few times while learning a new encounter.

I am not trying to be an elitist but this is a progression raid team and I am not looking to waste mine nor other player's time.


Attendance:

Must be able to maintain a 90% raid attendance, failure to show up with no advanced warning will result in immediate removal from the team. Advanced warning would ideally be several days so I can find a suitable replacement.


General:

Fail at dodging, wrong positioning, targeting wrong enemy, can't control pet, unprepared for new fights, and show up late or no show for raids.


Tank:

Fail threat, improper use of cool downs, wrong positioning/facing of enemies, unable to dodge the non marked aoes, unable to immediately gain threat on new enemies, unable to stun, and unable to communicate with your off tank/healer.


Healer:

Unable to learn incoming damage and react as needed, improper use of cool downs, unable to shield/cd/heal tank at crucial moments (missed benediction etc.), unable to manage mp, and tank dies consistently due to improper healing.


Damage Dealers:

Fail dps, improper use of cooldowns/buffs, unable to hit proper target, unable to silence/stun, and consistently die.

Skilled dps should be able to approximately achieve the below depending on gear/fight

Full Dark Light: 150/200+ Full Ilvl 90: 225/275+
