Transfer Error

Hi all.
I have been waiting since the game went live to transfer from Excalibur to Behemoth.
Now that we can, i find i can't....

Having gone thru my char, sacked my retainer, checked calamity salvager, not being in gaol, etc, etc.. the only thing i can think of is an fc i was signatory to, but not with. Yeah, silly mistake, thought i was helping someone out... Screwed myself over..

Just wondering if anyone else has had problems, or the same, and what i could do about it?

I don't recall the fc name either...

Make sure the following have been done

Step:1 Confirm Your Eligibility
The following conditions must be met before using the World Transfer Service:

You must possess an active service account for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.
You must be logged out of the game.
Your character cannot be enlisted in a free company, holding a free company petition, or signed to a free company petition.
Your character cannot have items for sale on the market.
Your character cannot have items entrusted to the Calamity Salvager NPC.
Your character must rehire any retainers carried over from Version 1.0.
Your character must be logged out outside of any instanced areas.
The character you wish to transfer must be at least three days old.
Your service account cannot be suspended due to a violation of Terms of Service or a hold on the account.

Maybe a Linkshell is also causing issues?

Need to check in with the people whose petition you signed. If the petition passed and the FC exists now it shouldn't be holding you back. Only if the petition is still active and awaiting a signature to establish the FC.

I had all the requirements met, I applied right away, and the transfer was approved... but I'm still waiting on a transfer.
I just noticed that I was the leader of a long-dead 1.0 linkshell, so I logged in real quit to quit that. Maybe that was a hold-up? Or maybe the process is really backed up? I dunno, but I'm not supposed to log in until the I get notified that the transfer was made. I'm trying to be patient.

You should be good. THere's likely a LOT of people putting through transfers right now.

Double check to make sure that you have re-hired all of your 1.0 Legacy Retainers. I had this issue for a bit on Saturday moring transfering my Legacy character. It turned out that I had a 2nd old 1.0 Retainer that I never re-hired on my Legacy server. So, since your retainers can hold items, SE ensures that no items are left behind by forcing you to re-hire all of your Legacy Retainers, before you can initiate a Server Transfer.

Think of it as no Legacy Retainers and items left behind policy.
