Every CT run a 12 year old boy turns into a man.
Up until this point he has always lived his life by the book, he has followed society's rules. Well... almost always. His first foray into the lawless criminal underworld was when he lied to a website about being at least 18 after googling "women with boobs". It was a heinous and despicable act but it was nothing compared to what followed soon after.
Not a month later he found himself atop the Empire State Building with his lame and embarrassing parents when he remembered hearing from a reputable source that coins thrown off the very same building would gain enough speed to kill a man instantly on the sidewalk below. Emboldened by his recent criminal activity he hurled a quarter off the edge when his parents weren't looking. He didn't have the guts to watch it strike a hapless victim but he knew in his heart that from that moment forward he was a killer, and there was no going back.
After getting home from school on this particular evening he ran to his computer and booted up FFXIV. He logged on with his glorious paladin, the defender of all things right and just, knowing full well that his intentions were the exact opposite. His first clever trolling was continually queueing up for CT and then withdrawing for a solid 5 minutes. This kept him satisfied for a while but soon he wanted more. He entered the instance and immediately threw up Sword Oath. It took a minute but when someone in his party exclaimed, "wtf, sord oath?!1" he laughed hysterically and felt a surge of confidence. With his newfound power he explicitly told his group he would MT a boss, but then proceeded not to! He was out of control.
Before the next boss he saw something he had never seen before, he saw a Ready Check. He quickly formulated an ingenious plan which he knew would be his masterpiece. During all following bosses he would spam ready checks. He did this not to find out if everyone was ready as he knew they already were. And herein lies the genius. He did it so people would have to keep clicking to remove the popup box while dodging AOEs, and he did it for the lulz of course. More and more people began to complain in chat about the checks but at this point he was beyond reason. He had become drunk with power. The power to slightly inconvenience 23 people with the click of a button. He had become a monster.
