Anyway id like to actually have some sort of "real" treasure map hunting when our chocobo is out. It could work the same way treasure hunting was on FFXIII unless that you re not mounted.

You could use a new type of greens to let your chocobo seek for spots on the ground containing some mats or random gear ( like current maps ) or if you're lucky, chocobos oriented loot.

You would have to defend him from various mobs waves while hes digging ( there could be different treasure ranks with highest requiring a longer digging time and stronger mobs ).

You could get different types of rewards, it could go from Gyhsal greens and chocobo Xp buffs items to unique bardings, job chocobos minions, chocobo themed gear and accessories, that when worn, could affect our chocobo's abilities and stats, affect breeding, chocobo speed, lengthen summon time etc...

Theres tons of stuff we could imagine.
That was actually originally in FFXI. Your chocobo's skills leveled up as you found stuff, and while raising your chocobo you could train it to have certain skills which made hunting for treasure much easier. Chocobo breeding n FFXI was very deep. It took several generations to breed a strong one.
