Have to agree with this sadly. Fighting those big monsters that spew every debuff in the game causes lots of frustrations with ANY Chocobo as you have move so it follows you out of the aoe.

I've always found it odd that there is a "Follow" command for Chocobos, but not a "Stay" command...

Light party dungeons with chocobos, barding should 100% have stats(!!!), questline with your vhoco with story & cutscenes. Gyshal should be time based effect rather than item based. Questable new skills and new ranks.

Not going to happen, they specifically stated they wouldn't be giving stats to barding so you can have your chocobo look however you want.

Then again... We're getting a vanity system (no reason it can't also apply to 'bos) and I specifically remember the developers going "We're doing this so you can have your Chocobo tank even if you prefer it in WHM Barding!", and that decided to shit all over that concept with how you obtain the bardings...

On that exact same note i have specifically read them stating in big quotations that bard WILL have stats added to them some time in the future. So to be quite honest, its difficult taking what they say at face value when they seem to change their mind quite frequently.

It's not really them changing their mind, it's them realizing they don't the time/manpower/ability/knowhow to do everything they say, some may call it changing their mind, I call it poor planning and follow through.
