First of all, if anima is balanced to go with air ships and chocobos as it was stated it will be, piling anything on top of that would have to go along with a very creative and good reason to do so.

I wasn't referring to what was in your OP though I have read it, I was referring to the page behind when I started posting. Re-reading this I realize you quoted immersion. So, perhaps I am mistaken on that. However, your statements are still very similar to the immersion devout.

Anyway, coming from someone who is telling me to read up on your posts, you could do yourself a favor and read mine. Unless they angry you too much to read them. I've stated my thoughts on travel and how I don't actually mind the walk. I like a little time sink and exploration. What I am trying to say is... your idea is not good enough and it really doesn't solve anything because it has no good purpose. On top of that, it doesn't exactly have all of the bells and whistles to appeal to all the types of players you seem to think it does. I just seems completely pointless and unnecessary and while thinking it is solving something, it actually makes other problems stand out more.
Imo, it's not pointless to me.

Reducing tele's to aetherytes gives more importance to the land, something that is lost when it's teleported across over and over again.

It increases potential player involvement, since you will see other players out actually adventuring, therefore creating better opportunities for meeting people who are doing what your doing, leading to parties...etc..etc...

It's purpose is supposed to make Eorzea feel more connected, right now it is disconnected because people are just teleporting around. You don't see anyone when nobody is out in the land.

Only the people dedicated to exploring are going to run someplace with 100 anima. I used to do that but it got boring. Not boring there's nothing to do in the world, but boring it feels like nobody is in the game.

Teleporting freely is making the world feel very empty. People are either at teleport spots or teleport spots.

I hate to bring up ffxi, but I remember seeing a party running through konschat highlands wondering where they were going. So I followed them and wound up at valkurm dunes.

How many times have you seen a party/group of adventurers in ffxiv together run anywhere?

Have you noticed how cities look occupied? It's because the players can't teleport to any spot/shop in the city, they're forced to run. That should be extended into the actual land.

That's the point I'm trying prove.
