    See we can all get along . For someone who has less than 10 hours to play a week, I'd even be content with instead of 100 anima drop it to 50, as long as we have air ships and chocobos. I think that would be a fine middle ground...even though I'd still like my 100 Anima , but I could do with less...I don't play enough so :P

    Well, it was in response mostly to Crica. Sorry I shouldn't have said these people and more should have said Crica.. You should read the other post on this topic, plenty of us.. including me... put more then one good suggestion and he refused to even acknowledge why we feel the way we do and that any of them would be even remotely a good alternative to the current system we've been "Handed". I don't want to ruin peoples 2 hours of play, i just don't like this thrown in anima system and think its a joke. Anything could be done to make it a little more thought out of a system instead of... Magically your a level 1 adventurer and you can teleport to any crystal youve met! better yet just have a higher level friend take you to all of them so there is NO work involved!

    One of my suggestions was to leave anima the way it is except limit it to like 30 anima and put a short and simple quest in to get 60 anima and then a harder one for 100 and then an even harder one for like.. 120, like the gobby bag method and at the same time limit the aetheryte crystals in the new areas to make it a little more challenging getting around and even with ALL of this we could add in ranom events you would only find while traveling by foot/chocobo!!! for incentive!!!! How is any of these three a bad option? even put together???


    The gobby bag method dosnt only ask you to complete a little task to earn more anima.. but it gives us somthign to do and a story behind anima as well as the fact it could ultimately lead to MORE anima.. for the people who claim to run out in like a day! (This is a real suggestion)

    Yeah that bug of having a HL friend take you around town isn't my idea of a good time. Granted I'm not for extensive traveling...however at FIRST, I think it's necesary so a player can get situated with the in-game world. That is one of the things my husband and I do enjoy. When we first started, walking around going from crystal to crystal so we can port to the main areas needed to do our leves, and we enjoyed the sight seeing on the way, since there really isn't much else to enjoy right now. We are looking forward to going through Coerthas *sp?* and getting all of our aetherytes there as well.

    If the fact that we use anima happened to negatively affect their gameplay, I would sympathize with them and try to find a middle ground.

    Since it does not, them taking away a very nice option for short gametime players has no grounds other then "if I walk, you walk too" and that is very, very selfish.

    I like those options. I could deal with that, just so long as my husband and I can duo the quests. Make it challenging, but not impossible for soloers or people with little time. IT WOULD BE CONTENT! Meaning I would have something to look forward to

    nobody said we want you to walk.

    Oh sorry, OP asked you to walk to the aetheryte crystal, i stand corrected.

    The bold part is where I think you might just be trolling or have serious reading comprehension issues. There are plenty of ideas here to try to compromise.

    Mordicus' idea of starting with a lower count of anima and having quests (increasing in difficulty) to increase the max anima you have is a start.

    Being able to teleport from aetheryte to aetheryte, even though you don't like this idea, is another compromise.

    I would even compromise that we could take Mordicus' idea and add that from level 1-10 (i'd go even 15 but I don't want you to get mad and yell at me and call me names) you wouldn't be able to teleport at all and then would have a short interesting quest that shows you how the system works and you can teleport after having done the quest.

    Yes i do get that not everyone has a lot of time to play, hey I don't have much time myself, but I think that the trend of "handing everything" has to stop and be fixed. Having things acquired through quests and having to get the node before teleporting there or be teleported there is something that adds depths to the game and you can complete these quest at your casual or hardcore pace depending on the time you have to play. BUT it would still be part of the game of something you would need to get before being able to use it. Not start at level 1 and be able to just be teleported anywhere.
