I'd like to believe the origin of this system came from that point.
but this traveling concept that supposedly compensates for the lack thereof is ruining the game, albeit in small ways.
It adds up.
IMO, an abundance of conveniences isn't a plus in this game. If it was only Crystal to Crystal it would have been accepted; Without hindering the game and or deriving too much personal time.
I'm all up for modifying it to node 2 node (at the minimum!) before any new players come, and especially before we get our maps redesigned.
This games attempts at accommodating for the players is making it look weak.
