    Just hope the Devs are actually paying attention to this thread. I've been hoping for a revamp/abolition of the Anima system for a while, and AFTER Chocobos and airships come into play, I see absolutely no point in them. But if the players must have it, at least restrict it.

    Insulting people in the counter argument isn't going to change their minds. It will make them stick harder to their opinion regardless of whether or not it's right, and think less of your opinion simply because you insulted them. In essence, if you want to try and change someone's mind, come up with a well thought-out response and don't be a dick.

    you're not the only one not addicted to porting. i keep 100 or close to it at all times. that is a personal preference i choose to make and run most places i go. someone else porting because they do not like to run every time they go somewhere does not change nor hurt my game at all.

    the one thing i would love seeing that has been suggested is something i would have loved to see from day 1. require everyone to run to all camps and get the nodes before they can port to them. i do remember the challenge of myself and ivan running through mor dhona and coerthas getting all the camps and nodes we could get as level 10-15 characters. was many deaths, but it was a great experience.

    You already do have to reach the nodes before you can teleport to them. It's the camps that you can be taken to if you've never been and those are all easy to get to.

    Anyway it seems people want chocobos and airships but they don't want to lose anima. As long as anima exists I will never use a chocobo or airship because I have never ran out of anima. Even before I had two mules to teleport me around my anima had never dropped below 50.

    Bingo.

    That's what my fear is. The Development Team will spend weeks and weeks making Airship and Chocobo transportation systems for us because we asked for them ... and then no one will use them because the Anima System is still the fastest most efficient system.

    Yes they are! my best times are sunked like that. I mean characters last forever...right?

    Anyway. If anima is the direction they're going in, they might as well stop designing maps and start designing dungeons, no one is ever going to walk around after a while. Waste of resources, even if it is copy and paste.

    I agree with Fated, this sounds like an even more restriction on players. I'd agree to something like this only after I receive my airship, chocobo and speed shoes. Seriously, son, you trying to kill us players?

    I would agree with the OP IF we actually had chocobos. As of right now, I feel like I spend way too much time power-walking here and there, and not enough time fighting.
