Fishing Daily Provisioning Is Inconsistent With Other Gathering

At level 50 Fishing the daily provisioning items take over an hour to obtain using ilvl 55, materia-enhanced gear... Meanwhile, the fish you end up catching other than what you're actually needing to catch don't sell, some of them don't even have uses, and if you just sell them all to an NPC it doesn't cover the cost of bait and equipment repairs. The number of fish required for provisioning at lvl 50 desperately needs to be reconsidered.

Agreed, I have barely ever returned a fish for GC coins. I do it regularly for my miner and botanist and also for some of my crafters but the Fisher is left out. No chance to get the fish you look for (in opposite to a miner or botanist) and as a result, the rng takes care that there is too much time needed with too little incentive.

Agreed. It takes literally 30 seconds to gather up the 10 items you need for the mining or botany turn-in. It may take 5-10 minutes to get 10 HQ if that's what you want. It takes hours to get 10 of a specific fish, and if they're asking for 5 mooch fish it can take considerably longer. Getting a full HQ turn in? Forget about it, never gonna happen unless you devote the entire day to fishing and nothing else.
