Gender Change -> Gender specific Equipment (Lightning Returns etc)

Hey!

I was wondering if you would get the Lightning outfit if you change to a female, or the Snow outfit if you change back? The list of gender specific Equipment is (relatively) long and I'd like to know whether you can throw anything into the dumpster after a gender change.

I don't know about the Lightning and Snow outfits specifically, but typically gender specific gear does not change with your character's gender.

Thanks for the quick answer! I might give it a try soon. Still got 2 Fantasia left so a change backwards is still possible.. If anything unexpected happens I'll let you all know.

Unfortunately, the Lightning and Snow outfits do not change if you swap your character's gender.

I would say it's probably worth submitting a request to SE to replace the one set of gear with the other. While it would likely take some time for them to reply, I don't doubt that they'd make the swap for you, if only once.

Save your Fantasia. The gender specific items don't change.

There's a ONE TIME restoration service, but save this for a high-ticket item in the future, in case you accidentally discard let's say and Allagan Weapon or a piece of high-end gear you've obtained/purchased that's been deleted by accident, or purchased by accident.
