Playing on ps3 and bought pc

I bought the pc version today since i didn't enjoy playing it on the ps3. I looked it up before i bought it and it said that you can have pc and the ps3 system registered to play with your characters on the ps3 also on the pc. But when i have signed in to my Square enix account when starting the game and typed my registration code, it won't work. Anyone knows what kind of problem it is and how to solve it?

Go to Mogstations, and add Windows platform, it should then allow you to enter the PC registration code to add Windows platform to your existing Service Account which current only allow PS3.

Yes, you do need a copy of the game for Windows platform, this essentially the license allowing the selected Service Account to be played under different platform. Bonus though is adding a new platform also add 30 days of game time.
