    The only eight person content in the entire game that takes a really long while to queue for or find a group for is really Cape Westwind, because it's a trial and it doesn't offer anything in the way of a bonus.

    Everything beyond that isn't terribly difficult to find seven other players to queue up with you.

    I love 8 man but I hate how difficult it can be to find 8 ppl...I had no problem with it until I reached extreme primals. Garuda is pretty much simple but it took sooooo long to find a group so I could farm my ring. Titan ex now... and its no joke. last few days consisted of waiting 1-2 hours for PF to fill up, only to have the party disband after 1 wipe, even though it was labelled as "practice run". My parties couldn't even make it to heart phase, and isn't titan pre heart phase basically the same as hm except for triple landslide, stacked plumes and upheaval? You can see my frustration here. Anyways back to pf to recruit 8 ppl who will probably die and rage quit. And yh, ik I need to join an fc xD

    The 8 man mechanic doesn't seem to have failed- the lockouts that prevent people from participating in multiple 8 mans has failed, imo. I keeps people segregated and conflicts with the "socializing" aspectof a large FC and MMO.

    This x1000 rather than lock people out from participating, lock out the loot if you have too so that once you have rolled on loot from a particular boss you cant loot that boss for the rest of the week.

    What this Game really does need and i am not complaining at all, since i play daily and will be for the next couple years regardless, is Largescale Content like in FFXI.

    Yeah i know, this is not FFXI. I said it multiple times myself, after all it is a FF title tho and its the best compare it to previous Titles and things which were great. Dynamis, Limbus, Sky, Sea ( Largescale Openworld is also a thing ), Einherjer were great and fun. They also had lockouts but still people did Dynamis as soon as they could and enjoyed it. Dynamis would totally work in the current XIV as a true largescale Content.. Entering with an Alliance 24 premade or DF could be possible or additional up to 2 full alliances.


    Make a weekly lockout for each type of Dynamis, Time 90 Minutes, add Timechests up to 30 Minutes, add Tomes which you can farm by killing additional Mobs and Routes ( lets say clearing a certain route gives 5 Tomestones and clearing all gives 120 ), add RARE Crafting items for Furniture and Gear, a possible minion-drop representing the boss of the area, add items for the Upgrade of your Zenith to the next Stage, add lore and storyline, add 10 different types in total, make the first 3 Storyline related, the next 3 ( hard ), the next 3 ( extreme ) but also different layers not only actions and last one ( unchained ) with a final boss dropping some epic Shit.. done. Sorry, didnt really think this through for more than 5 minutes.. but that is what i really, really want. There is nothing more fun than have 24+ mates from your FC smashing a given Content.

    My thoughts about same , if consoder core content like story or content that involved story + explorations 1 to 4 ppl's max is cool (8 or more is viable only with CM/Praetorium/CT difficulty)
    , but for run something that contains great drops and same time not include any "ingame" progression exept obtaining gear ( like in FFXI Legion,NNI,Delve,Meebles )8 ~24 man is great. Here SE did real -->WRONG<-- : Coil (have good if no great story/mystery behind) 8 man + veryhard , EX ( again story + hard ) by hard i mean , it hard for casual mass . CT sametime difficulty is great for all players to particiate lol (tho have other problems) , and CT is only true raid lol . Devs need in future "rethink" content , and i belive they already trying to fix that

    They have to remove the lockouts, in order for other players within the same FC to help one another. As of now, these lockouts are hurting other groups that would of otherwise been filled and able to complete their raid.

    Dont be mistaken while discussing my post. Im talking not about raid for many people, when the whole clan goes to raid. Im talking about const-party and high end content for const-party. 8 players- it is too much for regular const party

    Where they chose to put Coil does not matter. Raids, by definition, are more than one party or group.

    Even SE said (somewhere, think one of their letters) that Coil is not a raid.

    That they chose to put Coil there in the DF means nothing.

    Or are you going to say that Coil is a raid because it uses 8 people, that Praetorium and CM are both raids a well? Either all 3 are raids, or none of them are. (Hint - none of them are.)
